My May 3rd trip up to Tahoe Meadows just above Lake Tahoe. It had just snowed two nights before so there was some new powder up here so I decided to take the snowboard on out and have a little fun. The problem? It was a really warm day so it started to melt which led to a few temper tantrums haha but no less I had fun just hiking around and coasting. The Tahoe Meadows area sits between Mt Rose and Slide Mountain. Its full of small hills which were home to the natives for thousands of years because it was a very plentiful area full of marshland, animals to hunt, water and other resources. I know this is not the most exciting video I have done but it gives you a little Birdseye view into my life in the mountains and the high sierras. Tammy was snowshoeing while I was trying to get my snowboard to not sink. Like Murphy's Law I had a really good run when we first arrived but the camera was not running go figure. What is really awesome about this all is that here it is May and I am up in the mountains above Lake Tahoe enjoying winter sports at over 8k!
