The true story of Ed Gein and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre is an interesting one. Tonight I will discuss the life and crimes of Edward Gein. From his childhood filled with turmoil to his later years into his full decent into madness. Also an in depth study into how Tobe Hooper heard about him and decided to make the now infamous Texas Chainsaw Massacre, loosely based on Ed's crimes.

On a cold fall night outside a gas station, Jigsaw saw B rated horror films on a rack in the Darkest Corners of the store. Thus started the ultimate in the horror experience. Bringing in Egor and Big Bad Bart, so started the essence of what Darkest Corners would soon become. Creating horror films in the style of long past exploitation, Darkest Corners brought back everything that "new" horror was missing. Later bringing in Madman, they created the most terrifying haunts in Texas. After many years of success, Darkest Corners delved into short films, gothic modeling, paranormal investigations, and horror radio. Finally with the joining of Blade the current Darkest Corners family was complete. And so embarked on the world of feature films and set out to conquer Hollywood.
