On the 5th of November 1985 a legend was born.
The curse of the crying boy.
In the year 1985 an essex fire fighter came forwards and reported that paintings of the crying boy would often be pulled from the ash and rubble of burnt down houses.
The strange thing being that the paintings almost came out undamaged each time.
The whole of the UK was in a panic and the sun newspaper organised mass bonfires so that the general public could send in their copies of this painting in order to be destroyed.
Is there more to this painting than meets the eye?
