Once a month we donate our time to the Whaley House Museum, giving ghost tours to raise money for renovations and upkeep of the Whaley House and other SOHO properties and landmarks that need it. The Whaley House Courtroom still has the original gavel sitting on the judge's desk. Many tour guests have heard the gavel slam down in real time and it has also been captured on recordings throughout the years. On this particular ghost tour, Lead Investigator Colleen, conducts and EVP session in the courtroom. When she played the recording back she was excited to have captured the ENP of the gavel slamming down on the judge's desk, 3 times.
