Daywalkers Paranormal visits St. Omer's cemetery which is very near Ashmore Estates in Illinois to investigate the legend of the St. Omer Witch.
Depending on which legend you believe the witch was hanged by the locals and buried in the cemetery of St. Omer. The Witch (Caroline Barnes) tombstone is said to mysteriously glow at night and without explanation has the wrong death date of Feb 31st carved on it.
Many locals believe the tombstone resembles a crystal ball. The monument also faces North and South while most stones usually face East to West.
Is Caroline Barnes a witch? We encountered another spirit rustling in the nearby trees that spoke to us while we were there. We captured it on recording. Was this spirit guarding her grave or unhappy that someone was showing an innocent Caroline kindness and love that she so richly deserves?
