Right outside of Mays Landing, NJ, there is a huge tree that casts its shadow across the road. In the fall it always has amazing yellow leaves. The leaves are thin and vary in length. When they fall to the ground they grant good fortune until they turn brown.

We first heard about this tree from a friend a few years ago and knew we would have to check it out next time we were in New Jersey. What Christine, our friend, didn't tell us is that almost every leaf that fell was already partially brown, and so they didn't have the good fortune ability.

She did tell us though that you cannot pull the leaves from the tree or they wouldn't work; so we looked all over the ground for leaves that were pure yellow, we had no luck! We left with a few brown leaves hoping maybe they would still have some luck to them ~

Christine talked us in to going back to the tree with her a few weeks after our first visit; she said that more leaves should actually be falling at this time and so we went along. Sure enough she was right! There were a lot of leaves falling down from the tree and blowing in the wind --- although many were once again tainted with brown spots.

I got bored with trying to catch leaves and hope that they would be yellow, so I sat down and put my head in my hands; I was tired. I was almost asleep when Christine and Deedee yelled that they were ready to leave. When I went to get up I realized I had 4 yellow leaves in my lap! I was ecstatic --- and ran over to show the girls.

Christine told me I got the lucky ones and we decided to go to a Casino nearby to test out my luck. Sure enough, after playing for an hour or so, I hit the jackpot on a slot machine! I unfortunately didn't play the max bet, so I didn't get the thousands of dollars, however I did get a nice return on my bet, several hundreds!

I then also kept hitting while playing roulette --- Christine had found the tree of luck; who says money doesn't grow on trees?

Anyway I wanted to capture the luck in these leaves and found a jeweler in Norway who sets flowers and plants into sterling silver; I sent 2 of the leaves to him and he made me a pin that embodies the yellow leaves from the lucky tree!

I kept the other 2 leaves to see how long they would stay pure and yellow, unfortunately they didn't stay yellow for more than a few weeks. I gained luck in all areas of life, not just financially, but I did notice that I always seemed to have more money than ever before!

The pin arrived and we of course tested it out a few times --- the leaves work and the pin is really cool looking! Christine then proceeded to tell me that she heard that if you pass the buck, so to speak, you will gain a windfall for sharing the wealth ~ that is why this pin is available for sale. I want to have someone purchase this and use it to bring luck their way, so I will hopefully be blessed with a windfall for passing along the pin.

It cost a lot to have the leaves set and that it why I am selling it and not just gifting it to a friend ~ so if always wished that money grew on trees you should try this piece and find the good fortune that it will bring to your life!
