On this EP, we talk with Packman Paranormal. about Waverly Hills.

Packman Paranormal was formed in 2020 by Denise Brassell and Ernie Pack. We are a
paranormal team based in Louisville, KY. Why the name Packman Paranormal? Ernie
Pack has had the nickname Packman for over 40 years. What does the famous
Pac-Man do? He chases ghosts. What has Packman Paranormal been up to? Catching
ghosts.
…along with a certain large, hairy woodland creature!
Denise has been a paranormal investigator virtually all her life and has investigated with
and been a part of several paranormal teams over the years. She's investigated some
of the most notoriously haunted locations in the country from the Lizzie Borden house to
Gettysburg to Waverly Hill Sanatorium and beyond…eventually helping to lead
overnight investigations at Waverly Hills Sanatorium.
Ernie grew up in the shadows of Waverly Hills Sanatorium, sneaking in as a kid to race
wheelchairs in the hallways, and in most recent years worked there filling every role
from maintenance, to security, to haunted house actor, to tour guide hosting the private
overnight investigations. In his time at Waverly, Ernie has investigated with some of the
most prominent and well-known paranormal investigators in the world and has travelled
to many other paranormal hotspots over the years.
Denise and Ernie met in June 2019 when Denise visited Waverly Hill Sanatorium for a
private investigation and Ernie was her host. They soon realized that their investigative
styles meshed very well and spirits seemed attracted to their presence. To them, they
were a great paranormal team.....to a particular spirit at Waverly, they were meant to
be something more. Since they were both in denial..Sarah decided to become a
paranormal matchmaker. You'll have to wait on the book for that one! On January 15th,
2021 they were married at the Old Stone Jail in Franklin, KY. Since their initial meeting,
they've investigated such places as Old South Pittsburg hospital in Tennessee,
Ashmore Estate in Illinois, Lake Shawnee haunted amusement park in WV, Bobby
Mackey's Music World in KY, Waverly again, as well as multiple other paranormal
hotspots. They've also investigated such cryptids as the Pope Lick monster, Bigfoot and
Mothman.
Currently, they are in the fight of their life and have put Packman Paranormal business
on hold to lead the fight to Save Waverly Hills. The owners of the property, Tina and
Charlie Mattingly, are locked in a bitter and expensive legal battle to maintain ownership
of the building that they fought so hard to restore and turn into every paranormal
investigators bucket list location. Our goal is to raise awareness and funds to help with
the legal fees of the Mattinglys, and to return them to their rightful home.
