In October of 1958, Leslie Arnold, a sixteen year old from Omaha, Nebraska shot and killed both his mother, Opal and father, Bill dead in the dining room of their home and then buried the bodies in the backyard under a lilac bush. Leslie was sentenced to life at the Nebraska State Penitentiary in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he stayed for nearly a decade until the day that he escaped. He slipped through sawed off bars, scaled a 12 foot fence topped with barbed wire and vanished into the night. Never to be seen again. Leslie is the last man to successfully escape from the Nebraska State Penitentiary. With the haunting nature of this crime, we have to ask, is the home where Leslie Arnold murdered his parents and buried them in the backyard, haunted or not? Do the deceased parents of Leslie Arnold still wander the property wondering why there elder son did this to them? Or do they roam the halls of the home, searching for there younger son, who became an orphan after the crime occurred? No one knows where Leslie Arnold is, or if he's even still alive. So what if his spirit has returned home after all these years? True crimes often turn into true hauntings, but what do you think?
