This is a Vibration and magnetic sensor, not emf. which means it has a magnet that comes with it that can be used in tigger objects, the sensor can detect the magnet i think up 2 2 inches, but don't quote me. The app we use is compatible to our sensor is bluetooth controlled, and can be viewed on-screen of any android/iphone phone or tablet. The magnetic sensor is seen by a door open/close and the vibration is seen when it turns red(active). the sensor has 6 different sensitivity settings and the software can control multiple units at once so you can monitor more than one area at a time (given your within range). When you are out of range, the sensor still works as it should, just can't see it on screen. and not sure if it still logs the data if its not in range, but i know when you are in range of the (30 meters) it will log in time and what went off. it has a big power on/off switch so it will last long time, and this comes in white (default) or black. The unit is fully rechargeable and when active (with no detection) it will last 4 weeks on one charge, and only takes 2 hours to recharge.
