This is the first interment is Stephen Goodrich he was buried here two years before the Methodist Church was built. Many of the graves found here are some of the first pioneers who came to the region to mine while others were Freemasons. Stephen is kind off on his own but it was really nice to find his grave since this grave also serves as a historic site as other burials would follow. In all of Amador county which is gold country or called The Mother Lode this is probably one of the most historic cemeteries and a beautiful one if that!
