We would like to introduce you to the Woodfords that is the oldest non native community in the region. It served not only the Pony Express briefly but it was a place of mills and goods. As early pioneers made there way into the sierras prior to crossing through on the Emigrant trail they would stop here. Not much remains except a few small pieces of the past including this stone historic manor which is overshadowed by Cary Peak consumed by nature keeping its secrets to itself.
