The first world war was a brutal and depressing conflict, but because of the lack of video and audio recording equipment at the time, very little media from the war is available when compared to world war 2, so it is often overlooked. But there is something about the merging of the old world and new world that has produced numerous images which are incredibly haunting and disturbing.

While researching for this video I came across a huge variety of pictures, however these are 5 that I personally found particularly disturbing, creepy, or touching.
