In 2010, Richard Schoeck of Snellville, Georgia, looked forward to celebrating his 3rd wedding anniversary on Valentine's Day with his beloved wife, Stacey. In fact, he was so in love with her that he even adopted her three kids from her four previous marriages. To many people, 5 marriages for Stacey should have rang alarm bells, but his love for her ignored that worrying fact. Instead, they agreed to meet that day in a local park to exchange gifts and cards, but instead, he met a guy, known by his moniker as` Mr Results` Coleman, who gave him his gift from Stacey in a hail of bullets. Stacey, you see, was waiting for a bigger gift from her late husband: a $500,000 life insurance payout. Fortunately, the police were able to arrest both for his murder, and they each received jail time. Stacey is now spending Valentine's Day for life in prison.
And who says romance is dead?
