Author, speaker, & co-host of Creaking Door Paranormal radio, Brad Blair has harbored a lifelong passion for the strange & unusual. Growing up in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Brad spent his days at the local library, reading up on cryptid creatures, UFO’s, and his favorite topic: ghosts & hauntings, and putting this research to work in the field through exploration of regional legends, cryptid creatures, and haunted locals.
In the 1980’s Brad and a group of friends began experimenting in paranormal research, practicing séances and ghost hunts at abandoned cemeteries and purportedly haunted houses. This lead to the formation of the Upper Peninsula Paranormal Research Society (UPPRS, pronounced Yoopers); a group which continues to conduct paranormal research to this day.
In 2010, Brad along with Creaking Door Radio co-host Tim Ellis, established the Michigan Paranormal Convention, one of the top paranormal gatherings in the world, held every summer in his hometown of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
Brad has co-authored two books: Yoopernatural Haunts, with Tim Ellis and Steve LaPlaunt which explores some of the most fascinating case files from the UPPRS team’s decades of research, and Great Lakes Monsters and Mysteries, with Tim Ellis which delves into the creepier legends, happenings, and cryptid sightings of the Great Lakes region. Both titles are available through Visionary Living Publishing.
Brad has explored haunted locations throughout North America, as well as Europe and Cuba, and has contributed to many books, articles, and documentaries on the paranormal, and continues to pursue a lifelong education of the bizarre.

Tim is a veteran paranormal investigator, who has traveled the country looking for the strange and weird, and in 1999 started the Upper Peninsula Paranormal Research Society with Brad Blair and Steve LaPlaunt. He is the Co-host of Creaking Door Paranormal Radio, former host of TAPS Family Radio, co-founder of the Michigan Paranormal Convention, and co-author of the Paranormal hit books, Yoopernatural Haunts and now, Great Lakes Monsters and Mysteries. He has been featured in documentaries and numerous publications, including USA Today, The Detroit Free Press, and Lake Superior Magazine.
