"House of Darkness House of Light" author Andrea Perron skewers the parties responsible for the destruction of Bathsheba Sherman's headstone in the Harrisville, Rhode Island cemetery.
The ghostly presence of Bathsheba Sherman is featured prominently in the book trilogy, "House of Darkness House of Light" and the recent hit movie, "The Conjuring". Ironically, the headstone had recently been restored from a previous attack. Perron, who grew up in the infamous haunted farmhouse is concerned about the destruction of the headstone and appeals to residents and visitors to stay clear of the farmhouse that is still home to the current owners who have been besieged by curiosity seekers, trespassers, the media and wannabe ghost hunters. Anyone with knowledge of the destruction of the headstone is encouraged to contact the local police. Thank you.
