Prominently woven within Southeastern Wisconsin's ghost lore are the tangled threads that tie together the two old forelorn roads that carve through Oak Creek's Bender Park: Fitzsimmons Road and Oakwood Road. These two parallel roads stretching from the old battered Union Pacific railway line straight to the cliff overlooking Lake Michigan pave over a troubled urban lore of deadly drag strips, suicides, ghost trains, and even an ax murder.

Both roads have since been stripped of their homes, farms and residents. Both lay barren and forgotten... but their legends live on.

This first of two overnight investigations covering the dark, three-quarter mile long reach of Fitzsimmons Road, railroad to cliff, left Prove It Paranormal Research with far too many unanswered questions to dismiss and began their ongoing quest to help uncover the truth behind the undocumented mythos; to discover the heart of its intrigue.
