The reverse scanning isnt actually reversing the audio its just scanning the band the other way.

Also on AM u can actually make it quiter just on the psb7 but u lose some frequencys. Are you aware of that mode on the psb7? Its a sequence of pushing buttons in a certain way an time, its kind of a hidden feature on the psb7. Its only for AM tho it doesnt work on FM an like i said u lose some frequencys but it does make it alil clearer.
