Here is one of the earliest videos. at this point the odd nocturnal visits to the odd cave/log structure began to seem TOO odd for a mere unusually basic backwoods hippie teenager fort. I had just visited the night before and to my surprise the next day the cave floor ( a sideways inverted cone shape measuring 6 ft.wide at bottom of entrance,9 -11-ft. deep, and 6 ft. high at the entrance with a 35 foot long complex log structure built over and around the "nest") was lined with large slats of soft textured Elm bark. This video also shows the more complex front lattice-work at the entrance of the cave which was removed that later summer by the builder once it became apparent that our curious incursions were drawing too much attention.
