Do you believe in ghosts? One Ste. Genevieve, Mo. man says he has been living with ghosts for years and has proof to back it up.
Parts of Ste. Genevieve dates back centuries, but for Bob Browne, there's more than just history in this 210-year-old home.
"Yeah, they're not going to leave," Bob Browne said.
Mr. Browne says he has encounters with ghosts in this home on a regular basis.
"It doesn't bother me none," Browne said.
He says it can be as simple as a touch on the shoulder or sounds of footsteps coming from upstairs when no one is there.
Records show the home belonged to Dr. Walter Fenwick in 1805. He used it as a residence and office. He lived there with his wife and son, Zenon.
Both the doctor and the boy eventually died in the home. That's where the Browne says their spirits are today.
In one audio recording, you can hear the TV in the background and the investigator asks for a name. Browne says it's the little boy, Zenon, who answers back.
A trip to the home's cellar reveals a treasure trove of artifacts.
Mr. Browne keeps some of the items he has dug up on display.
