Opening in 1839 as Ffestiniog Union work house, it became an institution in 1930 & then Bron Y Garth Hospital in 1948 before closing in 2009.

During its time the building also housed people with infectious diseases & had a mortuary and prison cells on site.

People have reported the following paranormal activity here:
- A phantom lady is heard singing
- Shadow figures
- disembodied voices
- doors opening & closing
- objects being moved by unseen hands
- people being touched and pushed

Our 12 hour overnight lockdown at Bron Y Garth did not disappoint as we witnessed lots of unexplained activity and managed to capture lots of it on camera, with lone vigils, paranormal experiments and a sleepover, our night at Bron Y Garth will stay in our memories for a long time.
