CAUGHT IN A TIME-SLIP?

In October 1957, three naval cadets on an orienteering exercise visited for the first time, Kersey village in rural Suffolk, England.

While there, they reported a time slip that took them back to an ancient empty village devoid of people and apparently long abandoned. A butchers shop (identified as Bridge House) had the remains of rotten Oxen carcasses hanging from within, and many homes were devoid of possessions.
The church had also disappeared, as they could no longer see its tower and the buildings looked structurally dilapidated.
After a while, they returned from where they entered and the church was back in view with the bells still ringing. Everything had apparently returned to normal.

Researchers believe they had returned to the era of the medieval Black Death which may explain why the village was empty. Others more critical felt that it couldn`t have been a butcher shop during that period and in fact, it may have been the 17th or 18th centuries.

The author, Andrew Mackenzie investigated their accounts and wrote of his research in his 1997 book, `Adventures in Time`, and believes that their accounts were a genuine experience.

I actually attended the location and filmed a short presentation video of the village and also reviewed previously published opinions and research on the veracity of this legend which paints an entirely different picture.

This is not an attack on the credibility of believers, but a review and opinion of the facts as outlined. The decision to believe or not is entirely your own.
