Welcome to Wheely Haunted.
A new off shoot to Paranormal Voice Productions, the parent entity to Haunted Cornwall, and now Wheely Haunted.

Starting from the beginning…
My name is Jayne, my hometown is Plymouth but we’ve lived most of our married life in Cornwall, for around 25 years (so far). I’ve been involved in the Paranormal for upward of 17 years and in that time I have unfortunately developed some illnesses that have changed life in a dramatic way. ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia, among other other things, have slowly lead to a decline in mobility and strength. This has caused a lot of weakness, much pain, reduced mobility, severe exhaustion, some neurological processing issues and more.

As an investigator, the supernatural (specifically what we believe to be the afterlife or ghosts/spirits) has been a passion of mine since before I left school. I’ve learned more than I could list, been to some of the most haunted places in England and Wales. I’ve faced some incredible unexplainable happenings. Most times complete stillness and no activity was the story of many a nights Investigating. Met with my own scepticism, I’ve been able to explain away some ghostly claims. I am a total believer in the afterlife, I just don’t think that everything that happens or scares people is a paranormal occurrence. I’ve had one of the most frightening experiences of my life whilst investigating, seen things move with no logical explanation, heard disembodied voices coming out of thin air, seen phantom figures appear and disappear, alone and in front of a group of us. That honestly just scratches the surface!

Now met with poor mobility and a deep yearning and need to continue investigating the unknown, I plan on new project whilst embracing my power chair and no longer trying to hide the affect the mobility and illness issues have on me as I’ve always done. I have only got to 17 years in the paranormal field because of the help, understanding and support of my dearest, closest and graciously patient friends who have been with me and helped in any way as on investigations and in every day life. Not so many years ago some of my paranormal colleagues and friends donated to buy me an electric wheelchair. I used this to make memories with my children so I could still do the ‘out and about’ social things with them that a iMum should do. For those memories I will always be grateful to those who supported me. I always wanted to use it to investigate but always thought it never possible. I’ve no idea why?! Some years on and with a new replacement, I have decided to take things that step further and use my mid wheel drive power chair to investigate. I am an ambulatory user, meaning that I’m lucky enough to be able to walk very short distances (where possible) with walking aids and other times use my wheels to scoot about independently.

I hear you say that isn’t so special and you are right but I plan to take things to the next level…

Wheely Haunted is not just about someone going out in a wheelchair and chasing ghosts. My quest is to bring the subject of disability to the forefront of the paranormal field. Not only will you see me on public events all across the UK but I will be filming, giving honest reviews, reporting and documenting the investigations, location accessibility, and general support for those with disabilities, including hearing and sight loss -like an information guide, if you will. This will hopefully help you to book onto ghost hunts and certain locations with the confidence of your needs and comfort being met. There are famous locations that have gone above and beyond and other places that really haven’t made change it effort where it is allowed and/or possible. It has been a misconception far too long that some of the older buildings are just not suitable or lack the right access. The aim is to get paranormal bodies, location management and events companies to, at least think about positive change and offering more accessibility, comfort, support, information, policies and work with one another to make all of the above possible. By raising awareness, I want to turn it all into a movement, helping to change the face of the paranormal field as we know it and breaking down the veils of differences so everyone can investigate together.e and use for your own information.
