This is one of the many strange locations that the Gold Butte Region offers a place called "Devil's Throat" it is around a hundred feet deep and ninety feet across. The sink hole is growing over time so the fencing is always being expanded. Do not cross the fence line do not hang over the edge as its very brittle and you could fall to your death. The work we do is very important and we hope others can enjoy this location by watching this video of this unique location. We are only 13 miles from the ghost town of Gold Butte. Also surround Devils Throat are many holes and the ground is weak which means that other sink holes may be forming nearby.
