The Creepy Beech Caves built is unknown, but a it was guessed that in 1633, a man called Roger Low was offered 22 pence per score to remove 130 feet of stone from the site on 31st August, 1633.
People have also claimed to have seen apparitions in the caves. They are rumoured to have also been used as a bomb store for The Royal Ordinance Factory at Swynnerton during WW2.
