Wuxi Poly Plaza, opened in 2004 as a comprehensive shopping hub, faced challenges with the rise of newer complexes from 2010 onwards. The once-vibrant space, home to major brands like Carrefour, gradually declined, marked by store closures and financial woes. In 2017, a revitalization plan was announced, aiming to transform Poly Plaza into a forest park consumption plaza. Despite an estimated 150 million yuan investment, the project's progress remains uncertain amid the changing commercial landscape. Today, the dilapidated Poly Plaza in Wuxi holds memories but awaits its fate in the evolving era of modern complexes.
