We try to take the scenic Byway up minarets rd all the way back to Granite Creek. We stop along the way at Mammoth Pool, Mile High overlook, and other places to see just how bad the forest burned. We tried to go down Beasore rd, but was turned around at Ferdinand Creek where the bridge had totally burned up. I cannot believe how much of the forest had burned southeast of the Yosemite National Park.
