For several years the employees working at the Socorro Youth Center have experienced unusual phenomenon. The Youth Center occupies the former site of the former High School and Middle School.
These strange occurrences include; The sound of a girl's voice has been heard in the empty hallways and near the stage, the apparition of a little boy wearing a blue shirt has been seen in the Teen Center.
A shadow like figure has been sighted moving through the old gym and doors open and close by themselves. For several years the staff has built a haunted house for Halloween. This year the activity seems to have moved into this section of the deserted building. Disembodied footsteps are heard moving through the maze while plastic hanging from the ceiling makes noises as if someone is walking through it
