When does a series of fatal and near fatal accidents in one place or object, stop becoming an unfortunate set of ‘coincidences’ and start becoming something more sinister?

In 1858 the world’s largest ship was launched, this behemoth of a vessel dwarfed all that of previous ships. Built on an unprecedented scale this leviathan had a capacity of 4000 passengers, over 1500 more than the ill-fated Titanic. But with 6 workers being killed during construction, two going missing and a failed first launch, many believed the ship was cursed so much so that only 35 paying passengers were aboard on her maiden voyage.
