Gilbert Gottfried was an icon in the comedy world. He was a comedian, actor, voice actor, family man, and fellow native New Yorker. His career spanned the decades, beginning in 1980 and lasting right up until his recent passing.

He lent his immediately recognizable voice to video game characters as well as Lago from Aladdin and Sal from the Sponge Bob cartoons, among others. He never stopped working, appearing on many television shows and doing stand up specials and live shows all around the world. He will be missed.

When I decided to do this session, I was not sure Mr. Gottfried would come through. I am grateful for the small amount of contact I was gifted with and share it with you now.

I am using the Sono X10 Spirit Box app, which uses a voice bank “created by small bits of the American/English alphabet, phonemes, and small cuts of speeches (NO full sentences or words).” (from the information tab on the actual application)
