This is the grand tour of the Alexander Mill which resides in front of its massive mine. Not much remains of its former glory just a mere shell with a set of ore chutes and even an old well along with a small little ore processing house which overshadows the mill below. At one time over 20 stamps located on the property crushed the ore as it would come down into this small structure on top then make its way over to the stamps which crushed the ore so that it could be processed for its rich gold and silver. This is Grantsville's greatest treasures! It also was the site that a criminal was lynched from its very wood beams for a crime committed.
