Halloween is trumped only by Christmas on the number of films inspired by the holiday…and this is mostly due to the Hallmark Channel releasing what feels like a hundred new movies every year based on a meet cute under mistletoe. On this episode of Mytheries we’re going to look at the beliefs, myths, and legends that have shaped our favorite holiday, Halloween, and how some of our favorite films have used these legends to create their own awesome stories. So, turn off the lights, grab your pumpkin pail of candy and let’s share some spooky tales.

SERIES SYNOPSIS: Mytheries: Showcase various myths and mysteries from around the world and shines the light on incidents that have rocked history and can still not be explained. Each episode will be about a creature/myth/or in some cases people that are connected to it. To this day the creepiest thing about vampires is the fact that basically every culture in the world has a vampire myth but they never communicated to each other...so how did they know about them too? This is the place where Myth and Mystery combine.
