In 1700 the red cedars and spruce trees along the Copalis River were killed by a massive earthquake. This caused the land in the area to subside and the forest to become flooded by saltwater. This area because known as Ghost Forest and more info can be found here: http://www.northbeachvacation.com/copalis_ghost_forest.html

This is episode two and final episode of the Copalis Beach videos. We stayed on 100 acre property along the Copalis River and did some clamming and touring around of Ghost Forest during our visit. This is an amazing area of beautiful Washington State and I highly recommend it. A good way to see the Pacific Ocean and hopefully you won't get rained on like we did lol.

The fambam and I went clamming (for razor clams, for the first time), ate some farm fresh eggs and went off-roading in Ghost Forest on this trip. Lots of adventuring to be had here just 2.5 hours weatnof Seattle and we look forward to returning this summer. Hope you enjoy the video!

A little bit about me...

My name is Dennis aka Lao Ocean (also aka Dr. Wtpho, but more about that later) and I'm a Lao American YouTuber based in Seattle, WA. Seattle has been my home since 1980. My videos and vlogs consist of walking tours in Seattle and abroad, travel, and things related to the Lao diaspora. I drink way too much coffee, eat pho 20PHO7, and also make food and food review videos.
