How to use dowsing rods - how to program your dowsing rods. I started using dowsing rods during paranormal investigations because I wanted a tool that didn’t run on batteries. I wanted something tactile that used the energy around me. But I had a learning curve. I thought the rods had to cross for “yes” and open for “no”. This is false. Everyone will have a different movement for yes and no. Ask your rods to show you a “yes” and then wait for them to move. Then ask again for “no”. Test this with easy questions or statements that you know to be true or false.
