Built in 1870, the bed and breakfast has has a long, sometimes dark history, which many believe is the cause of the hauntings: including fires, suicides, and even a drowning. The current inn sits on the same property where two prior buildings had burned down.

Guests report hearing people walking up and down the hallways at night or doors shutting on their own, as well as the current owner witnessing a young child walking through the kitchen in period dress, or a man sitting in one of the bedroom’s chairs.
