On August 22, 2020 the team returned to Lang Pioneer Village in Keene to continue our ongoing research and communication. We had just settled into the large dining area at the Keene Hotel and decided to place the K2 Meter and the REM Pod on the table. We invited whomever was with us to join us at the table. You can see the K2 Meter flashing behind the lamp on the table.

It may seem like we have the lights on, but the room is only being lit up by a single flashlight. It's a Inn from the 1870's, there was no electricity!
And yes, we do get excited. It was quite unexpected.

The Keene Hotel was owned and operated by Martin and Mary Jane Kennaley in the 1870's until sometime in the early 1900's. It was moved from its original location to the pioneer village. It's history is intriguing and learning about early lodgings in Ontario is fascinating.

We highly suggest you take the time and visit Lang Pioneer Museum and take in the history and stories.

**Please respect the Museum, Staff and volunteers, and most importantly, the history that surrounds the buildings and families attached to them. Do Not trespass on private property or after hours.
