Over the past few days the “Laurel vs Yanny what do you hear craze has been sweeping the internet, so thought this would be a wonderful opportunity to get you guys involved in a paranormal experiment.
You see it works a little like this, the Laurel and Yanny sound was created by taking the word Laurel, and matching it to a word though sounding different actually has the same variance when matching the two frequencies together, alter the pitch a little and you essentially have a duel frequency sound.
Now as we know sound is created when something vibrates to make waves, and those waves are received by our ears and decoded by the brain. Now some people are predisposed to some frequencies, maybe of a different tone or pitch, others will hear lower or different frequencies, this is why people hear this specific word presented this way differently. So we are thinking this is exactly how the ghost box and other devices work.
So as an experiment we have recorded three clips, one from a shack hack, one from the Huff Paranormal SCD2 and the other from a PSB7 hacked radio ghost box. This will be raw footage with no interpretation, let us know in the comments what you hear in these responses and the times that we hear them, and we will present the findings on next weeks show.
We do give our reactions at the end of the video, of what we initially hear on minor examination so please don’t let us influence you, do the experiment before moving on to what we hear, remember different people can hear different things so be honest with yourself and each other. Have fun.
