LUCID DREAMING - A lucid dream is a type of dream in which the dreamer becomes aware that they are dreaming while dreaming. During a lucid dream, the dreamer may gain some amount of control over the dream characters, narrative, or environment.[1][2][3][4] Lucid dreaming has been studied and reported for many years. Prominent figures from ancient to modern times have been fascinated by lucid dreams and have sought ways to better understand their causes and purpose.

Many different theories have emerged as a result of scientific research on the subject and have even been shown in pop culture.[5][6] Further developments in psychological research have pointed to ways in which this form of dreaming may be utilized as a form of sleep therapy.

ASTRAL PROJECTION is a term used in esotericism to describe an intentional out-of-body experience (OBE)[1][2] that assumes the existence of a subtle body, known as the astral body or body of light, through which consciousness can function separately from the physical body and travel throughout the astral plane.[3][4][5]

The idea of astral travel is ancient and occurs in multiple cultures. The term "astral projection" was coined and promoted by 19th-century Theosophists.[3] It is sometimes associated with dreams and forms of meditation.[6] Some individuals have reported perceptions similar to descriptions of astral projection that were induced through various hallucinogenic and hypnotic means (including self-hypnosis).

Hi, I am Rev. J.H. Skarthborg an ordained Pagan Minister & a musician of 30 + years. I have spent around 17 of those years creating dark ambient and other genres of electronic music.
