MJ Dickson is the Founder and Lead Investigator of Sage Paranormal based in West Midlands, UK. Her experiences with the paranormal began at a young age and she soon realized that she had inherited her mothers’ psychic abilities which fueled her interest.




In 2011 she founded Sage Paranormal; they have successfully investigated numerous locations throughout the UK. Due to their professionalism and the evidence they were able to document, Sage Paranormal is recognized as one of the UKS most well-known paranormal teams.

MJ - I was born in Zimbabwe and raised in South Africa, I relocated to the UK in 2010 on an amazing journey of spirituality and science. My mother is a Medium although for years she blocked her abilities out of fear. Even though she raised us to be very aware that our loved ones were “Always close by”, she would predict deaths in the family as well as other experiences and yet still somewhat sheltered me from it. My father was a military man and taught me that there was a logical explanation for everything although he never questioned my mothers “Abilities”. I had many strange paranormal experiences growing up; little did I know that my mother’s abilities had been passed down. It wasn’t until my early twenties that MY abilities began to develop; it was at this time that I began questioning everything. I needed answers.

What made me different from everyone else? Why did I have these abilities? How did they work? I am an extremely curious person so once I took part in my first investigation I was hooked. I had to know more. I have been investigating the paranormal for over 6 years now and during this time I have experienced numerous paranormal events as well as been able to document these events using various pieces of equipment and cameras.

A little over 5 years ago I founded my own team - Sage Paranormal, while each of us have very different views and backgrounds, we work extremely well together. We all share a similar goal, to educate people with the hope that sharing our knowledge will ease their grief of losing a loved one. I lost my father almost 5 years ago and even though I am a Medium it was still crushing, this made me think how horrendous it must be for those that do not possess any abilities - to lose someone that close to them and that loss being so “final”. I set out on a mission to gather as much physical evidence of the paranormal as possible, to use this evidence and my knowledge as a Medium to help others understand that there is so much more to life that we can not yet explain however – there IS something else out there and I intend on proving it.

I want people to begin asking their own questions, to open their minds to the possibility that there is indeed an Afterlife. Hopefully the single thought that they will one day be reunited with those they have lost will bring them a bit of comfort as it did for me.

2014 Paracon UK – I received an invitation from the Paracon UK to be a guest speaker and cover “investigation techniques” – an hour long lecture. I also received an invitation to join the panel for a 2 hour open debate in front of an over 150 strong audience. It was a great honour to be sat up on the panel alongside the best in the field and to be told that I deserved to be there due to the work that I have done.

I have recently returned from a trip to USA where I was a guest speaker on the SpiriCruise 2, a week long paranormal convention on board the Carnival “Dream”.

I have several guest speaking appearances worldwide throughout 2016 / 2017 so keep an eye on our EVENTS page for updates.

My book, “Never Goodbye, Only Goodnight” which is a ‘How to’ guide introducing you to the world of paranormal investigating as well as basic psychic development; includes a short biography and is due for release in 2016.
