On September 14, we traveled to Marietta, Ohio and one of our stops was the Cawley and Peoples Mortuary Museum. Actually, this was the originally planned location stop for this trip, we just found other places to stop and do while we were there. The museum is owned by Bill Peoples and is located in the old hearse garage for the Cawley & Peoples Mortuary located at 408 Front Street, Marietta, Ohio 45750 and you need to call ahead to arrange to see the museum.

One of the first things that you encounter when you walk into the main area of the museum are references to the movie "Get Low" with Robert Duvall, Bill Murray, Sissy Spacek, and Lucas Black.
