Remember, Potosi is one of the most historic locations in Missouri and these locations feature much of that history along with hauntings with many have experienced over the years, including attendees of our overnight investigations! Did you iknow that the Austin-Milam store was built as a log cabin at first by Moses Austin who sold supplies from it to many incluing the those on the "Trail of Tears"? His son Stephen also assisted his father and also took his place when he fell ill and took the settlement party to Texas which he is considered the father of! Also in this store, which was a bording house later, had a bank clerk took his own life by shooting himself in the chest on the second floor. In the same cemetery Moses Austin is buried, also are the remains of the LaPine familly who were brutually axe murdered and then their cabin was set on fire. This resulted in the last hanging, which was a double one, in Potosi. Various past members of families passed away in the Long-Banta House and they are also buried in the same cemetery across the street. Past Potosi residents, current historical socieity members and those who have attended the overnight ghost hunt have experienced numerous accounts of unexplainable activity at all of the locations you will be exploring. This includes seeing full bodied to dark shadow like apparitions, hearing disembodied voices and foot-steps, being touched by the unseen and so much more!

Attendees will be divided into three groups and rotate to investigate a different building at different times throughout the night. Everyone will have the opportunity to investigate with investigators of Paranormal Task Force and to receive paranormal field training as desired.
