ClubZero Ghost Group investigate Mill Street Barracks in St Helen's Merseyside.

Built in 1861 as the HQ for the 47th Rifle Volunteers, These barracks have seen many regiments go through these doors over the years with many servicemen being deployed to the front in both world wars and never returning. After WW1 the barracks was used as an isolation unit for Tuberculosis patients. During WW2 the basements were used as a mortuary as a medium term storage facility for soldiers and civilians storing hundreds of bodies before burial could be arranged. After the 213 battery moved onto more modern facilities at Jubilee Barracks, Mill Street became the Sea Cadets as the training ship Schimitar.
