Parallax Paranormal investigates Peoria, Illinois' most haunted location - The Peoria State Hospital. Also known as the Bartonville Insane Asylum, was a mental institution and was opened in 1902. Ran by Dr. George Zeller, Zeller believed in treating his patients humanely and experimented with holistic treatments. The hospital closed it's doors in 1973.

Because most of the hospital's patients were buried on-site, the Peoria State Hospital remains one of the most haunted locations in Illinois.

Parallax Paranormal was granted access to the hospital's auditorium, cottages, cemeteries and the Peoria State Hospital Museum.

Parallax Paranormal captured real paranormal evidence at each location. In the cottages we heard a ghost singing and in the auditorium we capture a ball moving on camera.
