You would think after six days Sony would be close to an official date for the return of the PlayStation Network. However, think again. According to Patrick Seybold's (Senior Director of Corporate Communications & Social Media) post on the PlayStation blog, there is no specific date in site.
"I know you are waiting for additional information on when PlayStation Network and Qriocity services will be online. Unfortunately, I don't have an update or timeframe to share at this point in time.
As we previously noted, this is a time intensive process and we're working to get them back online quickly. We'll keep you updated with information as it becomes available. We once again thank you for your patience."
Personally, I haven't been into any online games recently since Uncharted 2 Multiplayer, but I definitely miss watching Netflix on my living room TV. Some have suggested that Sony should compensate its disgruntled fans. One way or another, the longer Sony takes, the more peoples' patience will be tested.
