WHY DID I NOT UPLOAD ANYTHING FOR FOUR MONTHS ON YOUTUBE?

1. I decided to work on my content, change it a little, add some more creativity and just make some content that is more “me”

2. As soon as i started working on my content and was making the ‘100th vlog’ wali video, my entire family including me got covid positive and things got extremely bad. So many family members passed away. My own family was hospitalised (plus baba was on supplemental oxygen and was in a really critical condition) and I was staying at the hospital while simultaneously trying to study for my cies as well. It was tooo stressful. There were times i felt like i didnt even want to live anymore and it got pretty dark and i felt depressed for the first time ever in my life. It was very very very difficult to get out of.

3. My family is still recovering from covid. it’s still v hard and things still aren’t back to normal. there’s a lot going on at home that I don’t publicly share but nothing’s normal at the moment so I haven’t been in the right mental space to actually create videos that I will love making or you’d love watching. I won’t lie, I did try to make vlogs like 4-5 times and ended up not completing them cause it didn’t feel right. i felt so forced because the content i was making wasn’t making me feel happy or creative/productive.

4. I have my A levels finally exams going on at the moment after which university will start so I have been super busy trying to somehow complete all the syllabus that I missed while I was staying at the hospital during the covid days and now that I have exams my date sheet is very screwed up. I have consecutive exams till 11th June due to which I’m not getting any time to sleep. Moreover, due to university applications and everything, I was just so worked up and didn’t get to be productive at all.

Due to all of these reasons, I was really inconsistent and it made me really frustrated cause I really missed youtube and making videos. Seeing messages like “did you leave youtube?” or “do you even remember you used to have a channel?” made me feel so guilty but it is what it is.

BUT NOW IM BACK ON YOUTUBE FINALLY. I WONT BE INCONSISTENT AGAIN. PROMISE!!!! I HAVE PLANNED SO MUCH FOR MY CHANNEL AND UPCOMING VIDEOS. HUGE SURPRISES COMING SOON
