In November of 2012, we traveled to Dealey plaza and Marianne jumped up on that stone slab and recreated the motion of the Zapruder film. This is the exact same spot that Mr. Zapruder stood on that fatal day, to capture one of most horrific scenes in American history on film.

Our Zapruder film recreation is only 18 seconds long; however, it only shows how the JFK limousine would round the corner and pass right in front of Mr. Zapruder. The purpose of this video is to document the exact location where this was originally recorded.

The original Zapruder file was 1 minute in length.

John Fitzgerald "Jack" Kennedy (May 29, 1917 – November 22, 1963), often referred to by his initials JFK, was an American politician who served as the 35th president of the United States from January 1961 until his assassination in November 1963. He served at the height of the Cold War, and the majority of his presidency dealt with managing relations with the Soviet Union. A member of the Democratic Party, Kennedy represented Massachusetts in the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate prior to becoming president.

The Zapruder film is a silent 8mm color motion picture sequence shot by Abraham Zapruder with a Bell & Howell home-movie camera, as U.S. President John F. Kennedy's motorcade passed through Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963. Unexpectedly, it ended up capturing the President's assassination.
