Redruth Gaol, the first gaol built outside Adelaide in South Australia, was constructed to hold 30 men and women, later, after closing, it became the Redruth Reformatory, and housed the remaining girls of St Johns Reformatory near Kapunda, - later it would become a private residence, until eventually it was used in the movie "Breaker Morant" and then became a museum
