The Plough Inn at Ripple used to be a regular drinking hole for me and friends.... became more interesting discovering the place had its own ghost too

Ripple is a small village 2½ miles South West of Deal in Kent, it is also occasionally known as Ripple Vale.

In 1811 the property was purchased and turned into a beer retailer and grocer of the staple parish, having a licence granted to sell ales and cider only by the justices at Dover and in 1824 the property was registered as the Plough Inn, a name that has continued to the present day.

At the Plough Inn there is a little known haunting occurring – that of an unidentified man in modern clothing who has been noticed on a number of occasions by the bar staff, who walks through the bar area, on through the dining area and enters the Gent’s toilet at the far end of the building,
