The water at Round Top Lake is crystal clear when the snow melts up on the cliffs it fills Round Top Peak with fresh pure water. The lake is not very high I estimate maybe 5 to 6' in the very middle if that. You can see the water is very blue this lake resides very high in the sierras. It was worth the 2.5 hike to get here and the 1,200' elevation gain!
