Aaron Interviews Nicole Strickland of The San Diego Research Society (SDPRS)  

Biography

 Nicole Strickland currently resides in San Diego, California, and has been innately intrigued with the paranormal since childhood and has studied the field for many years. She has been actively investigating historical landmarks and private residences for paranormal activity since the early 2000s, after a profound experience with the spirit of her beloved grandmother, Helen LoPinto. She is the Founder and Director of the San Diego Paranormal Research Society (SDPRS); and serves as the team’s EVP specialist and historical locations case manager. Nicole has worked with various Southern California paranormal research teams prior to developing SDPRS in 2009. She is the California Coordinator to the Ghost Research Society and also serves as a consultant to World Paranormal Investigations and the American Spectral Society. Nicole also offers local San Diego-based classes about various aspects of paranormal research and investigation.

QUEEN MARY RESEARCH Nicole has conducted numerous paranormal research investigations throughout San Diego, Southern California and even out-of-state. Her favorite place to conduct both historical and paranormal research is at the legendary RMS Queen Mary, located in Long Beach, California. Nicole has spent the past 12 years researching various areas of the liner. She has given many presentations about the RMS Queen Mary at paranormal conferences and events and has talked about the haunted history of the ship on various internet and terrestrial-based paranormal talk radio shows. She has recently come out with her own website and blog devoted to the Queen Mary, at http://www.spiritedqueenmary.com. MEDIA APPEARANCES In addition to radio, Nicole has been featured on local and national TV programs. These include Good Morning San Diego, San Diego Living, Travel Channel's Ghost Stories, BIO's My Ghost Story and Fresno, California's Paranormal Journeys. She has recently been tapped to be a consulting producer for an upcoming TV program as well. In addition to some TV work, Nicole has appeared on documentaries, including Ghosts Across America II, Night Stalkers: Southern California Paranormal

Investigators, and the All Around Us: Inside the Life of Psychic Medium Seth Michael film. Nicole will participate in a 2018-based film, discussing her work aboard the Queen Mary.

 

"SPIRITS OF THE ADOBE" Tour Host - Rancho Buena Vista Adobe

Along with SDPRS' Ali Schreiber, Nicole is also the co-host of the monthly "Spirits of the Adobe" tours at Vista, California's historic Rancho Buena Vista Adobe. Along with SDPRS, Nicole has conducted private research investigations at the site since 2011. By blending the rancho's history and paranormal phenomena, the tours act as a fundraiser for the Friends of the Rancho Buena Vista Adobe

PARANORMAL UNDERGROUND MAGAZINE Writer and Correspondent Nicole signed on with Paranormal Underground Magazine as a writer and correspondent in 2016. To date, she has written a few articles for the magazine as well as contributing to its "Paranormal Insider" section. It's also the largest paranormal conference in the Pacific Northwest region. Nicole has enjoyed being a speaker, panel guest, course instructor and vendor at the event for three years in a row. She was asked to be the official California Coordinator for the conference in 2016, an honor she is truly excited about.
