Daywalkers Paranormal visits O'Neal - Holiday bridge in Zionsville, Indiana to determine whether the legend of the Screaming Bridge is true.
The legend: O’Neal Bridge, aka Holiday Drive Bridge, was built around 1892 and restored in 2008-2009. The bridge may no longer be in use, according to reports. Legend has it that around this spot, a KKK lynching took place, and hauntings way stem from it. Witnesses have reported disembodied screams in the wee hours.
The story is that one night, I believe in the 1920's there was a young woman who gave birth to a child out of wedlock. He father, ready to disown his daughter or worse, told her to take the infant into the woods and leave it there to die. The young woman came across the bridge and instead of dropping the child into the river chose to rap the child against the cold, and hanged herself from the bridge.
The story is that on certain nights, or at certain times Halloween, midnight, full moons, etc. The sound of the woman screaming and the child wailing can be heard.
Daywalkers did hear screams at the location but we could not pinpoint the location because they seem to come from everywhere and no where and always at a distance.
